Meet Roland Radler: The Architect Behind Form and Function

 Welcome! I'm Roland Radler, the founder and principal architect behind Form and Function by Roland. For over 35 years, I've dedicated my career to not just designing houses, but crafting truly custom homes where life unfolds beautifully. 

My journey began in California, where I spent decades honing my skills in the ultra-luxury residential market. I had the privilege of designing and building unique estates, mastering diverse architectural styles from sprawling Mediterranean villas to elegant farmhouse-inspired residences. 

I've tackled projects in varied climates, from the sunny coasts of California to the rugged mountains of Colorado and the humid shores of Florida, always adapting my designs to perfectly suit the environment.

In 2023, seeking a new landscape and community, I relocated and launched Form and Function by Roland right here in Monkey Island, Oklahoma. I'm thrilled to bring my extensive experience and passion for bespoke design to serve the Grand Lake area.

 My company name reflects my core belief: a home must possess inspiring Form while serving your daily life with perfect Function. To achieve this, I offer a true design-build service. Unlike many architects who hand off plans to a separate builder, I am both your designer and your project manager, guiding your project from the very first sketch to the final handover.

Hand-Crafted Designs: In a digital world, I still begin my creative process by hand-drawing initial schematics. This allows for an artistic exploration of space and flow that captures the soul of your future home.

Unlimited Collaboration: My goal is for you to fall in love with the design. We will refine the hand-drawn plans together, as many times as it takes, at no extra charge for revisions. Your absolute connection to the design is paramount.
